French Floor Tiles

Here is What Ben had to say about a nice tiling job i did in Stockton Heath.

"I imported in to the country some really cool tiles given to me by my brother in law who was re-furbishing this big old house he has in France. The tiles were all uneven so i knew they'd be difficult to install and needed to be treated with care because they're irreplaceable and we only just had enough to cover the floor.

I know Tom after he did a brilliant job of re-skimming our house the previous year, so knew he was the right man for the project. Tom certainly did an amazing job, first levelling a very wonky concrete floor, then preparing the tiles properly so they could be installed without future problems. He laid the tiles perfectly, even advising along the way the best choice of grout colour to make the tiles stand out. People always come round and say they look fantastic and my brother in law is now gutted he took them out of his kitchen ! "

Rendering. Clithero

Another job for M.J. Needham

This one is probably the hardest / best job i have ever done. It was a challenge to get all the angles square and level. I was really happy with the result, so were the clients.

I used the standard two coat sand cement with sponge finish method.

I will try and get hold of some pics of it planted out.

Photography Studio

I helped convert Alex's garage into a photography studio, insulating it throughout, boarding and skimming. We managed to finish it all in one weekend, but it nearly killed us. It was a good opportunity to test out my new stilts, they are a good bit of kit, speeding up work considerably.

Set Building

I also build sets for photo shoots

This one was for Rustlers Burgers. The clients were Double D Creative, an excellent design agency, nice chaps.

The shoot was in Manchester

It was a simple set to build

Done.

Lack of posts

I have been really busy with work so not many posts, as you can see.

will aim to add more in the future

Cheers

Tom

Rendering in Manchester

A nice rendering job in Manchester, The existing rendering was pretty shabby but rock solid. I used E.M.L (expanding metal lath) to make sure the new render would have a strong key to the old.

This job was a bit of a challenge because all of the walls were hugely out of level.

Jake, the client was impressed with the results
